Hulsey, John 83, of Winter Park, FL died July 21, 2017. John was born in Baileyton, AL and was known as "Sonny" to his family. He is survived by his wife Lucy, his sons Vincent and David, daughters-in-law, Sharon and Carol, and granddaughter Katarina as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson Bobby. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was retired from Hartford Insurance where he worked for 32 years. He was an avid golfer and devoted FSU fan. He also loved working in his yard and garden. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist church. Services will be held Thursday July 27, 2017 at Asbury United Methodist church. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. Dr. V. Scott Harris will be officiating. Arrangements by Collison Family Funeral Home.
Oh grandpa, so many things i never got to say but your light will shine on. I know youll watch over all of us and im so thankful that i got to have you as my grandpa. Im so sorry i didnt get to say goodbye because i moved to montana. I hope you forgive me. I hope you know how much i love you and how amazing you were. Until we meet again ❤❤

John and I worked together at The Hartford in Atlanta, Charlotte and Orlando. We both retired from the Audit Dept. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends at this very difficult time.
