Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear this! John was a musician in our Cabrini group for years. His warmth, gentleness, compassion and great musical ability will remain in my heart (and in so many others') forever. Blessings, John, I miss you. God bless you, Mary! Nan Stevenson

My friendship with John goes back to the 5th grade. As childhood friends living close to each other on the edge of town (John on a small acreage with all kinds of interesting things), we had many memorable boyhood experiences.

We took different paths later but always remained true friends, John being the more thoughtful one.

God bless your soul, John. I'll miss you greatly.

To John's family: I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with John at the Public Health Laboratory. He was such a kind and gentle man. It was a priviledge to have known him. May your memories of John give you comfort.

I remember John last in our garden for a fundraiser on nonviolence and Islam. He was such a gentle, thoughtful and committed man.

It was a joy to get to know John over the years during our visits to th Cities. He had a wonderful mind and was a fine example of Christian manhood. We send sincere condolences to all of you. May God grant him eternal rest and peace to you.

To John's family and friends. I'm very sorry for your loss.

John was in my Arabic language and social group. His enthusiasm to learn and share his passion for the Arabic language will be grately missed by the group, and especially me. I remember when he was ill and was at the Mayo last, I inquired if he was ok? He would tell me "everything is fine"... and he still scheduled a few reading group meetings at his home.

He was a very thoughtful and kind man. I hope everyone would...

Dear Mary,

My wife and I came to your lovely home a couple of times during this year to participate in the Arabic language sessions John and you hosted. We will always remember his nice smile and welcoming and inquisitive spirit. Praying for his soul to be blessed and for your family to find solace.

I m sorry for your lost.

Dear Mary and Family,
I will be eternally grateful for the brilliant light of John's wisdom, kindness and humor that helped guide us on our shared path these last fifteen years. It was an honor to have him as a friend. Thank you for opening your home to all of us. He will be deeply missed.
