We were saddened to learn of Dr. Jay´s passing and offer our deepest sympathies and condolences to Toppy and his brothers. I recall Jay encouraging me to continue to run Track at U High in 1965 and trying to beat his record time in the low hurdles. When I looked up his time in 1964, I was amazed and decided to devote my spring energies to Tennis only and he kindly always reminded me of making a smart decision when we´d see each other at the Dobson-Hunter picnics thereafter. My sincere condolences to the entire Huntington family. My parents and I were guests of George and Bess Huntington for several summers at Lakeside Camp, and that was a real highlight of my childhood.
