John Robert Hurley

So very sorry for the families loss, Mr. Hurley was my absolute favorite teacher he made a difference! A man who will never be forgotten!

Mr. Hurley was a great teacher, and his memory will live in on in the students he taught. As a teacher now myself, I hope to one day be as engaging and loving to my students as he was to us.
I didn't go to Georgetown - he was convinced I would - but I never forgot that he believed I could.

Mr. Hurley taught me more than any other teacher before or since to question what you see, as things aren't always as they seem. I learned a lot of unusable computer nonsense, mostly that computers are stupid (his words), but the life lessons poured freely from John Hurley, he will be missed.

My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time. Words cannot express how saddened my family and friends are to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you.

Mr. Hurley will forever be a teacher who made a big impact on my life. I had him for a few history classes and he taught me a joy for the subject and learning. I am very sad he has passed on but I know he won't be forgotten. Teachers like him are rare and special.
