Not sure what to say?

I'm pretty sure this is the John I mentioned in another comment below. We worked together in the 80's at a place called Catholic Printery. I'm not surprised that John left there to get into the computer industry because the owner of Catholic Printery was quite stingy, so there was no chance to make a very good living there. I bet he did really well in the computer industry. A very smart and competent person.

wow , it´s been years since John and the gang from the crescent lounge hung out . what memories . the good ol´ days for sure . now and then I think of you John and know your in heaven with the angels . I always remember to this day when something shocked you , you would say " oh my word " ! lol I´m sure you say that every time in the presence of the almighty . till one day we can say "oh my word " together . bob

I wonder if this could be the John Imhoff who worked at a company called the Catholic Printery in the 80's. I worked with him there. It made Sunday bulletins for Catholic churches in the northwest and was based in Seattle. He was a manager, and I was a proofreader. I have been trying to track him down for awhile. Sorry to hear of this John's death, whether that is the John I am looking for or not.

Hi John, I woke up to Brahms' Deutches Requiem on Classical King FM. Must have been a sign. I can't believe it has been 5 years since your passing. Thank you for being a friend. P.S. I am now 4 years sober - who knew?

Hi John,

Can't believe it has been 4 years since you shuffled off the mortal coil. Miss your lively (& occasionally cantankerous) spirit. You would be amused to know that I am now 3 years sober & (virtually) worshipping at a Lutheran Church. Please put in a good word for me. Happy May Day!

John - I think about you everytime I do not pickup a drink (lol). Hope that you are enjoying some Mozart in the Great Here After.

I am trully and deeply sorry for your loss. My warmest condolences go out to the family and friends of John. May the God of all comfort grant you peace and strength during this difficult time (psalm 29:11)

To John's Family and Frinds,

Was wondering what happened to John so I googled him and found this obit. How sad.

John & I go way back - we were happy hour regulars at The Crescent, a dive bar on Capitol Hill and before that the Elite (badly misnamed - lol) He would sing karakoe (Beetles complete with faux British accent - lol).

We used to have conversations about classical music - he loved Mozart and had no use for Bela Bartok or the 2nd Vieneese School - lol.

He...

Chris, Jennifer, Margo, Judy,
I have such great memories of John at "the Villa" enriching our days with music, humor and musings on life. He visited us in NY the week before our wedding, and it was great fun touring Manhattan with him. He whistled Mozart from morning till night; to this day I think of his ability to whistle classical music and hear him in my mind's ear. My heart goes out to each of you.
