John - you were my first golf teacher. But you did more than teach. You inspired and encouraged me to be better from the start. I grew up down the street from John in Shreveport La. we both played golf at Meadowlake CC. John was one of the best players I have ever seen. My sister graduated with John and she passed away last Sunday. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of his family and friends.
