Always missing you you're a good guy

To the family of SGT Savage,

May God bless and keep you all at this time that marks 5 years since his passing. I served in Iraq with him in the 94th Engineer Battalion. It seems like just yesterday since that awful day. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. His death shocked us all coming at the end of the deployment. I will never forget him.

I have not written on here in all this time. I know there are some who would not want me to! I was with Jared for 8 years and he was my first love! I miss him so much but get to see him everyday in our daughter's face! She has his eyes ans his smile! He was taken from us doing what he loved!! He sti comes to me in my dreams and I cherish those times! We did a lot of growing up together in those years! I will always miss you and you will always be remembered!!

Every day you are in my thoughts. I love you and miss you baby brother.
