Not sure what to say?

Pam & Family,
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Jack, the gentleman. Jack, the caring teacher. Jack, the active Union brother. Jack, our friend. May the Peace of Christ be with you.

Sometimes when you meet and work with a man he leaves such a meaningful impression. Jack was one of those men. I was very saddened when I saw his obituary and it brought back thoughts of the meetings we attended. It was decades ago that we last spoke but the qualities of a truly good man you do not forget. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Pam and Family,

It is with a heavy heart I write with condolences regarding our loss. I am one of those first cousins of Jack's whose pathway took me far from WNY but valued memories of my cousin have always been part of that journey and always will.

Years ago in South Buffalo as children we would play together occasionally but we were well informed about one another as we matured through our devoted aunt, Sister Redempta, and, also by the fact we were both WNY...

RIP jack, one of the kindest people I have ever known. Your wisdom and leadership over the years is a legacy you and your family can certainly be proud of. When there was a need for a cool head of reason we alwYs turned to Jack. Chuck a

As a brother Hillcrest Volunteer Fire member Jack was one of the special men I would not hesitated to follow into a burning building. He will truly be missed.

Our sympathies to the Shanahan family. Jack was an excellent teacher and always a kind gentleman. So many of us were privileged to be part of the East Middle faculty with Jack.
RIP, Jack and Prayers going out to all the family. Barb Slazyk-Lipa

Pam and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I was fortunate to work with him at East Middle School when I first started at the district. He was a kind, considerate gentleman and a great teacher.
May you find peace in your beautiful memories of him.

Pam and family, our deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of a Jack into eternal life. Lindy knew Jack as a child in South Buffalo because he lived on Buffum near her grandparents and Tom worked with him in West Seneca. We are so terribly sorry for your loss. What a fine man he was. We always enjoyed seeing you at the yearly SVDP Top Hat dinner. Sending you all our love.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
