Heartfelt condolences. Uncle John (UJ) was a kind, gentle person. He reminded me of Grandpa J. Lots of fun memories, he once took me to a Vikings game! You will be missed, UJ.

A fun member to the Devils Lake ND Bullwinkle's club with whom we shared many walks to class and activities back in the 60's. Thanks for the memories! May your family be blessed with the warmth of pleasant memories and the comfort of His love and peace. Tim Rietz

Sad to hear about John's passing and my very best to Marlene and Family. I knew John in the 80's in Bismarck, ND, and we took two canoe trips together to the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota as we both loved that area. I remember one trip where, after a long day of paddling in a misty rain, when we got to the Lake where we were going to camp for the night, the sun came out and a rainbow formed and came down right in the Lake it looked like. So we paddled out to it. John is in the rainbow...
