I boarded at John´s Mother `s warm and friendly family home in Gladstone in the last half of 1960 while I finished school at Grey Tech after Dad ( Traffic Officer in Greymouth) was transferred to Te Awamutu . In later years John visited us in Christchurch where my family moved to. As life often dictates we went our different ways pursuing other avenues and work.
