John was born on May 7, 1943 and passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Clearwater.
Sorry to see this posting. I worked with John for 2 years when I was a new Detective in Violent Crimes. He was a good mentor and kept me safe in a lot of high crime areas. My condolences to his family and friends.

John... I'm deeply saddened by this news.. Your wife and I broke down today talking about how much you made us laugh.. I'm going to miss your stories and jokes everyday.. Your an amazing man.. MaryEllen, John and Jennifer - our deepest condolences. We wish we could be there with you in person but our hearts and thoughts are with you during this time.
