Read MoreI was so sad to hear of this from Mary last week. I have such fond memories of my visit in 1989 to New Zealand and the warm welcome he and the rest of the family gave me as I backpacked around the country. I will search my old albums to see if I have a good photograph which captures the energy of those times, and especially the trip to harvest eels. My deepest condolences to all the family.
