Not sure what to say?

Fr. Jenkins was such a kind priest who was always there to listen and hear my confession at any time. He helped me so much. I really miss him.

Mentor, Oh

Thank you so much Father John for all the masses you presided over at St Mary's even though it was physically difficult near the end your spirit would not rest till you taught us as much as you could possibly share about the Love of Jesus for all of us and how to look towards him in every aspect of our life. You have surely set a great example of how to live in Christ and your strong voice shall be missed for sure.

We were saddened to hear of Fr. Jenkins passing. I will never forget the words he spoke to me on an especially difficult Sunday morning when I had to step out 3-4 times with our toddler son. I said that I felt like I needed to attend Mass again because I had walked out so many times. He looked me straight in the eye and told me, "Don't ever feel that way! You are doing your calling as a mother, to teach your son. God will make sure that whatever you heard during Mass will lead you. Continue...

He was the best confessor. He even called me and asked if I was ok when he didn't see me at Mass. He was alway there for me when I needed Jesus most. He got me through a very stressful time and I will be forever grateful. May God bless him abundantly. He is a saint in my book.
I will alway pray for him in gratitude for his kindness.
Lisa Lottes.

Our sincere sympathies to all of Father Jenkins' family and friends. Our family will always remember Father Jenkins' caring and gentleness. Our boys remember with great fondness his handing out report cards at St. Paul's School when they attended. My husband and I will always remember his asking us to be Eucharistic Ministers. His encouragement was a blessing to our family!

Rest in Peace Father Jenkins....

RIP Fr.Jenkins...remember you fondly from Holy Cross days..Marty Jaquay Waller

Rest In Peace, Fr. Jenkins. The children at Holy Cross School at the time enjoyed Father Jenkins' religion classes. He especially seemed to delight in teaching the younger grades.

We will miss you Fr Jenkins. Our children remember serving daily mass with you and we so respected your quiet gentle nature. The countless hours you spent at St Paul observing, greeting the children each morning with Cisco, and even handing out report cards. Whenever someone needed you, you were there. It's the little things we remember the most and now you will be reunited in a wonderful place with your beloved Cisco and your family.

Father John was my dad's first cousin. What a reunion they are all having! Rest in peace Father John.
