Not sure what to say?

My heart is heavy for you, Tree, and your beautiful children. Bud was an immensely likable and accomplished man. Loved our time together on Nantucket fishing for bluefish, and Bud showing me how to cook it up with mayonnaise. Many other memories, and his genes, will live on...

Sending love and prayers. Peter Burnham and I never went into Milepost that Bud didn´t come over and reminisce about "the good ole Colby days". I know you will miss him, but you have many good memories that can never be taken away. Hugs Kay Drake

Bud made a friend of every person that he met. His warm, sincere personality coupled with his infectious smile left all with a relaxed feeling of friendship and community. He will be forever in our hearts, thoughts and memories. Peace be with you Bud.

I felt a part of the family working for Bud and Trish at the Milepost for years. Bud always with a smile on his face, a great sense of humor and a very easy person to talk to about anything. Always fair and thoughtful. RIP

Wonderful memories in Duxbury with our families, at the lakes in Vermont and going to Rocky Point ! Will miss you Bud!

Til Valhalla!

Thank you for your unselfish military service to the people of this nation. May you now rest in peace.

Sincerest condolences and may Bud's memory always be a blessing to his family and all who knew and loved him. RIP Cousin David Sausville & Bud Russell

Bud- you are, and always will be, to family and friends what Bobby Orr was to hockey. I hope you remember the Milepost fish chowder recipe 'cuz I'll be looking for a bowl when I find you in our Father's Kingdom. 'til then may the wind be at your back- Xoxoxox Kuz Kev
