Mr. Jones was born on October 12, 1942 and passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016. Mr. Jones was a resident of Eldorado, Illinois at the time of his passing. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran He served in the US Army Battery D 2nd Battalion 10th Artillery 197th Infantry Brigade 3d USA as a Field Artillery Section Chief with the Rank E6. He was married to Carol. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 20 2016 at the Watson Funeral Home 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro DE 19966 where friends may call two hours prior. Interment with military honors will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday February 22 2016 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Purple Heart Chapter 1787 CO Gary Morris 16989 Staytonville RD Lincoln DE 19960.
