John C. Jones

John was definitely a legend!! Many memories of him and Anne, mostly from spending many days at Selkirk where John was a lifeguard during his summers. And later, once again became acquainted when he and Anne introduced Larry and I. They were both so special that we included them as part of our wedding party. We'll always have fond memories and are sending our sincere condolences to the family. Dawn and Larry Penoyer

John Jones was a giant among men. He made you laugh, he demanded excellence, he didn't tolerate nonsense, and he was tough as nails. Things you learned from him were relevant for the rest of your life. Farewell Coach.

John was a very close friend and colleague. As a long time coach I often invited John to speak to my team and he would share the wisdom he had acquired over his coaching life. John was an outstanding mentor, role model, teacher, and friend who gave much of himself and asked little in return. He will be missed.
