So sorry I missed your send off Brother, as I was away. I spent 30 plus years working with you as a FF in Ringwood John and it was always a pleasure. Every time I saw you we would always have a chat and it was always nice to see you. You were the true meaning of a volunteer who gave his all to the community for 55 years!! So sorry to here about Your Dad John I will always remember the times we got the learn from our Dads when we stared on the Department together so many years ago. Give your Mom a hug for me I miss you guys. Rest in peace God bless you and your family

I’m at a total loss of words. Mr J was truly one of a kind. His smile was contagious and his heart was huge. Ringwood has truly lost one of the best there is. Sending lots of love and peaceful healing to the entire Jonker family.

An amazing, incredible, soul who touched so many lives, including my own. "Dad" Jonker you were an incredible husband, father (& father-in-law) and grandfather. I always loved you. You will truly be missed by so many. You were a community hero as a volunteer firefighter serving in the town of Ringwood; the first of the three generations that are still firefighters in Erskine Lakes Fire Dept. You were a family hero in your grandchildren's eyes and forever will be.
