I'll always remember John for the warm smile he always seemed to have and his great sense of humor.
I'm grateful for the couple weeks I got to spend with John & Debra last November when we all thought we'd have more time with him. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.
I'll also be forever grateful to him for suggesting to Debra, when she was wondering what Lynn was doing, to just call her and thereby reestablishing a friendship that began in grade school. It also allowed me to meet them both.

While on my field work I would visit John while he was working at BCS. John always had a smile on his face and had a story to tell. He was great support when I needed his words of wisdom. John will be missed.

John was Steve's buddy to galavant all over the place. I affectionately called them bro-friends. I'll miss him getting on my case for wanting/bringing Coca-Cola to his house. Steve and I look forward to seeing John happy and healthy and when he can help make our hearts whole again.

I appreciate John's love for others. He was a wonderful friend to my family. The smile he greeted everyone with was so warm and friendly. John was always happy to include the lowly one the ones forgotten by others were always remembered by John as if, it were his mission to help these ones out and making sure they new they were important. John had a knack for making others feel special.
John was happy to teach my son how to use tools the right way, and if that didn't work there...

I'm so thankful that John became a part of my life when I moved here. He was great friend full of common sense when things were rough, and full of comedic sense when thing were tough. He taught me so many things about life and work, and let his generosity shine on me. There is not a single day, that I forget to look forward to seeing him again.
