I just found out John passed away. My deepest sympathy for Ellen and family.

Dear Jourlies Family - When I read in the Koinonia yesterday of your beloved husband, father and papou's passing, I was overcome with sadness. John Jouriles was a stalwart presence of my youth, a kind warm presence, who always had a smile and encouraging word. I loved to talk with him and Mrs. Jouriles about any topic. John Jouriles was one of the great coaches in Cleveland Heights-University Heights Tris Speaker Little League baseball. He was fair, disciplined, and an advocate for his players. All the while he set an excellent example for the boys, and--especially--other parents. I know, because I umpired many of his games and saw him in action, night after night, seven innings at a time.
