John "Jack" Joyce of Michigan City, passed away peacefully on his 70th birthday, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024. He was the youngest of seven children born to Rita (Lynch) and Daniel O'Connell Joyce who preceded him in death.

Sorry to hear about JJ's passing. He Was a great friend too many during all our interactions on the Chicago fire department. We always knew he had our backs over the radio when situations arose. Not to mention how Much we all enjoyed our interactions with Jack during all of our careers on the Chicago fire department. JJ, rest easy buddy and may God bless you! Condolences to the entire family.
