My condolences to John's family at this time of loss. May John come to see God face to face, even as he was the face of God on earth for so many.
I remember John from my days as chaplain at Fairview, and his transition to the community. He had a gentle and kind spirit about him. I wish I could attend John's service. Instead I will remember John at the 11 am Mass I say in my parish Church.
