My sympathy to your family for the loss of Mr. Kane. Carol Stark was my physical ed teacher in high school, and I still have the Rilke book she and Miss Brown gave me in 1963 when I graduated. It turned out that Rilke became my favorite poet, and I translated some of his poetry after studying at German universities for 2 1/2 years. Have not forgotten Mr. Kane or Ms. Stark.
