Not sure what to say?

I was a student at Shadow Hills Elementary in the early 1990s when Mr. Kaptain was the principal. I remember him always being very positive and really wanting all of the students to succeed. When I was in 6th grade, a group of friends and I got a big stick and knocked the letters off of the marquee in front of Shadow Hills as a "joke" (just kids doing stupid things). We hid the letters in my friend's garage and his mom found them and we got in trouble. Our parents contacted our schools. I...

John & I have been friends and classmates since Kindergarten. There hasn't been a finer man anywhere. I am sad that he is gone. My sincere condolences to all his family, and I know that he will be welcomed in Heaven.

I may never had contact with John after high school, but I remember him as a fun friend and great actor in some of the skits were we in together. (:
May God watch over your family during your time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. What a wonderful man and father he was. Our children swam together for many years and I remember all of us sitting together and cheering them on or at the end of the lanes timing them with stopwatches. We both worked in education and shared many stories about the crazy days working with kids of all kinds. He raised two wonderful sons and he always had a smile on his face and a positive outlook on life. Sincere condolences to his family.

Prayers for your family. You were a good man and coach. Thank you for teaching me how to play tennis. May you Rest In Peace.

I want to thank all of you for the wonderful things you had to say about my husband and for sharing so many great memories. He truly was a special person and the world was a much better place with him in it. For me personally, a lifetime with him just wasn't long enough. ❤
