John P Karsten, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 26,2023, at his home residence in Los Angeles, California. He was born on May 9, 1952 in the Bronx, New York, to Albert and Juanita Karsten. He graduated from Theodor Roosevelt High School in 1970 in the Bronx, New York. He was married to Cindy Jean Freibrun on March 12th 1977, in Alhambra California.
For most of his career he worked for HSBC as an Information Technology manager. In his spare time, he enjoyed coaching baseball and watching his favorite sports teams the New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers. John loved the simple things in life, chatting with friends and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, a brother, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
