We are so sorry to hear that Dr. Kaufman has passed. He was our Dermatologist for years, and was always so knowledgeable and kind. Sending love and sympathy to the family of this wonderful man.

John and I were acquainted around the Roanoke Valley in the early '60's, but became good friends and fraternity brothers at Duke where I was two years ahead of him. He pulled the hat trick only a few achieved of being an intense and effective socializer, but always a good student. My memories of John are all good ones. I extend condolences to his family.
