Not sure what to say?

I remember the good time we had at pub night after the final game at Bill Bolton Men’s Hockey league. Sat with John and his brother Peter, my twin brother Jeff, asked John if he played a lot with Peter when they were growing up. He had a wry wit, responded that he didn’t play much with Peter because he (John) was a much better player. Classic! I can’t pretend that I knew him really well but I can tell that he will be sorely missed. Keep your stick on the ice.

I was so sorry to hear about John’s passing. I did not know him well myself but my daughter Mary was a good friend of his daughter Tess and knew the family well.

John was a kind and loving husband and father. He and Diane were always supportive of their extended family. I am so sorry for your loss.

John was one of the most down to earth and generous man we have ever meet. I played on the hockey team "The Loch Monsters" for years with both John Sr and John Jr. I fondly remember more than once John & Diane would host the team and spouses for a BBQ and drinks in their backyard. Our sincere condolences to Diane and the entire Keefe family.

So many wonderful memories of John ... his kindness ... humility ... energy ... and best of all, his comedic timing with "one-liners" (sometimes just a single descriptive word) that could erupt the room in laughter. John was real. Always a class act. I will miss him immensely. My heartfelt condolences to Diane and the Keefe family for your profound loss.

I was so saddened to read about John's passing earlier this week. We first met in grade 9 at Michael Power HS and continued our education at St. Michael's College and graduated in 1971. John was always one of the smartest if not the smartest person in the room. He and Diane were high school sweethearts and had an incredible journey through their love for each other and their children and grandchildren. We moved on with our respective careers and bumped into each other over the years. As luck...

I had the privilege to have worked on matters with John since 1987. He brought a brilliant and creative mind to all challenges. But first and foremost, he loved to talk about his family, always with great pride, and how much he enjoyed his cottage. He has been a constant in my professional life for decades and I, along with many others, will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.

Very sad to hear about John's passing. He was always a great lawyer and even more impressive such a committed family man. I remember him recounting with such pride how he could host the family at the cottage. Condolences to the entire family on your loss.
