Not sure what to say?

Jake Kelliher welcomed me as a new student at VI in my senior year! I regret that I never met his beautiful wife, Christine, but I did get to know his sister and her husband, the Halloranans ! Plus,,our parents got to know one another through Meals on Wherls!

I worked with Jake as his Deputy for several years at the Department of Public Service. He was just a fine man who always listened and made you feel part of all the decisions that had to be made. He wore several "hats" with many different groups of friends. I was lucky in my life to be one of them. Rest in peace Jake.

Dear Christine
My heart gos out to you for loving your husband and caring for him the way you do . He’s definitely going to be missed.
I’m so honored to have met Your husband Jake And you . You guys were such a powerful, loving and caring couple . I honestly want my husband and I to be just like you guys . God put you both in my life for a reason . Jack was the sweetest man Ever . Always happy and smiling I just want to send my deepest condolences to his loving wife Christine...

Dear Christine,
I speak with the heaviest heart upon Jake’s passing. He was a man of true integrity and caring and he demonstrated this in his daily life and in the things about which he cared.

Jake will be...

On behalf of St. Catherine's Center for Children, I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to you Christine on the loss of Jake. Jake selflessly dedicated his time, energy, and talents to guide, support, and promote the mission of St. Catherine's Center for Children. He was one of the good ones and will be greatly missed.

I wish to express condolences to Christine and others of John's friends and family. What a wonderful ride his life was, for himself and those with whom he shared it! It will be hard not to have him around to talk about all those times. With sympathy, Celia

Jake was a very smart and non-pretentious man. Great guy. I use to talk to him while walking my dogs. Great person.

Jake and I first met at The Newman House (Hartwick) “Back in The Day” of the turbulent protests of the last half of the ‘60s, enjoying many philosophical dialogues and religious discussions of our faith (especially about the Berrigan Brothers) and, as life’s paths would have it, reconnected decades later at the PSC. Always a huge, welcoming heart, brilliant intellect, and a truly wonderful human with an inviting and embracing smile born of our shared Irish heritage – a perfect example of...
