Jean, I spoke with Val yesterday and learned of John's passing. I am sad that I did not see the notice so that we could personally give our love and condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are for your wellbeing and comfort. We remember fondly our time serving with you in the temple as we worked on the Friday midday shift. John Kemp was the bishop to my parents at a time when they really needed him. Through his love and encouragement they blossomed and enjoyed their association more fully with neighbors and friends. Thank you Bishop Kemp. You are much appreciated by our family.
