To the family of John Kemper:

Please accept my sincerest sympathy.
I was very saddened.
I knew John in the late 60's, 70's.We trained together when he stopped by the gym. He drew a fantastic likeness of me, I still have the picture.

I will always remember John in my prayers. He was class and looked like a movie star.
Sincerely,
Joe Albarino

My condolences to the family from 1983 to 1987 I remember the 5:30AM work outs we used to do with Johnny Marant,Myself and John Kemper some time Carla Dunlap would be there and every now and then Robert Kool Bell from Kool and the gang and John Kemper would train us with his intense workouts i used to love them thank you for everything John you was a great man and a good freind R.I.P my brother

I remember walking into the first Diamnd Gym on Springfield Ave as a skinny 12 year old...John was there by himself as it was the 2nd day of the Gym. He kindly sat me down and went over a basic program...He was my hero from that day on...I was in a Houston Gym many years later and ran into him at the counter as he was checking in...it was as if I was 12 once more..he never forgot me and Ill never forget him...RIP John...RIP...an amazing man

Dear Shirley and Family,

My deepest condolences. My prayers are with you. John was my mentor and roll model. It has been almost 30 years, yet my memories of the good old days at Diamond Gym and John's words of wisdom never fade. John taught me to never give up and I have carried that message throughout my life.

Warmest Regards

Happy Birthday Mr. Kemper! I love and miss yu dearly!
