John West Kemper Sr.

Such fond memories of John whom i met when my husband Bob was a resident of Kemper house. Always a welcome smile when we saw each other.

In 1973 I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kemper as his secretary at Scott & Fetzer/The Kirby Co. He was truly a great boss and kind to everyone. When I left to move to Zaire, he was responsible for sending me off with a party which had not been done before. I never forgot it and he remained as a great memory in my life although our paths never crossed again. My condolences on his passing. I am happy to have known and worked for him for those 2 years early in our lives. RIP Mr. Kemper.

My husband was a resident at Kemper where i had the pleasure of meeting John. Such a pleasant and charming man.It was an honor to meet him.

I met him in the early eighties and did business with him. John was a class act and a real gentlemen.

I´m so sorry for your loss. John was such a good man. I really enjoyed working with him on the Finance Committee at Lake Ridge Academy. My condolences go out to the family and Kim in particular who I worked with for nearly 20 years.
