He was a good man, and a good friend, and a very funny guy in college, too.

A great friend from college. Drove me to pick up my first good Martin guitar in North Boston in 1968. The time he spent driving definitely didn't hurt his academic performance at Harvard LS, which was stupendous. Mind-boggling, in fact. Great guy. He's missed.

I haven´t seen John since TMI. He was battalion commander and the smartest guy in our class. A real "classy guy".

I just ran across the notice in the Harvard Magazine about the passing of my Harvard College friend, John. My condolences to the family of this terrific guy - smart, funny, and personable. John drove me to North Boston in 1968 to buy my first Martin guitar. He told great stories about his time at TMI. I shall miss connecting with him periodically by phone or in cyberspace, but I take comfort that he is with the Lord in Glory.

After reading John's obit, there isn't much to say other than he was a friend to all at TMI. Another, gone way too soon. Condolences to his family.
