Not sure what to say?

Father Kenny was a major reason I became a Catholic 12 years ago. His storytelling, his openness, his genuine character are unparalleled. I will forever be grateful for my time with him at CIC in Grand Rapids and the guidance he provided. He holds a special spot in my heart. Rest in peace, you lovely soul.

Fr. John exhibited the grace you would hope for in another human being. He helped me in times of distress, and I really enjoyed talking with him. A model of Christ's compassion. Thank you, Father John.

Father Kenny has now joined his favorite Chicago White Sox players who passed before him. I used to tease fr. Kenny about the Cubs being the real Chicago baseball team. Sometimes he would get so mad and walk away. He was a very good man and will be missed by many at The Cathedral of Saint Andrews. RIP

He is one of the reasons I enjoyed going to the Catholic Information Center. He had great homilies that made you think. He was intelligent, insightful and humble. He is missed.

Remembering your great love story today and always.

Fr. John said the mass for our mother's funeral in 2007. Mother had such a relationship with him and along with Fr. Joe Gallagher concelebrated her funeral. It was a wonderful send-off for her. I can hear his chuckle as I write this. I'm sure that he was received in heaven with ,"Well done my good and faithful servant". He will be missed.
