I am so saddened by the news of Darry's death. I had known him since kindergarten, when I was four years old. He was always very kind and polite to me, which meant a lot. And I was in awe of his athletic talent (having none myself)! He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, and fully deserved to be our class's permanent president. His leadership will be greatly lost by our classmates.

I send my deepest condolences to the whole family, especially to Nancy.

Please accept my prayerful condolences prompted by happy memories of our shared experience for so many years at YMR.

This week I am offering Mass for all the Kerckhoff family.
