Not sure what to say?

John was a good kid-- I saw him only occasionally-- I looked forward to these meetings and to talk photography. Godspeed John.

John was one of the nicest and at the same time the most obsessive people I have ever known but I never doubted that his heart was in the right place. I used John as my assistant for decades. I will miss him!

I am deeply saddened at the loss of John and very sorry for not writing sooner. I first met John at an ASMP meeting in 2000 and instantly bounded with him due to his friendly nature and encyclopedic knowledge of computers and photography. John was a good egg-- good student- and avid Roxboro Camera Club member-- Our lives crossed from time to time-- but, it was good knowing he was out there. Godspeed John.

John cherished his relationships and always gave more than was asked. People with the greatness of love have cried for the loss and laughed with the memories. God Bless

Words will never be able to describe a loss like this one. John Kieger was a wonderful person who always strove to show kindness to everyone he knew, often going out of his way to help others whenever possible. He meant a great deal to me and I feel very lucky to have known him and his whole family. I am honored to have been invited to share a few family dinners, movie nights, and casual conversations with such an amazing person and his wonderful family and, especially, his daughter Carissa...

Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. We, the staff and students in the library and information services offices at Kenyon College, only know John through his daughter Carissa, our colleague and friend. But we know that the amazing person that Carissa is, her intelligence, her kindness, her humor, and her bravery, must have had a source: through Carissa, we get a glimpse of John. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you.
