Dear Kikta Family,
I was one of the EMTs that transported John for dialysis regularly. Each time I picked him up I knew every little movement or road bump hurt him. While there was nothing I could do about it, my partners and I were always mindful of it and we always did our best to cause him the least discomfort possible and to be as gentle with him as we could.
