We met in Lake forest in about 1970 were really good friends from the start I lived on 351 East Glenwood off Greenbay RD by Old Elm RD. Between Bud Appleton and his brother Mike along with Tom Short we spent a lot of time chasing new Bass fishing spots and listening to music. John always came up with the best new places to fish. We loved our music and would mostly hang out at Bud and Mike Appleton´s house on Waverly. I reconnected with him in my mid twenties but we could never seems to get...

John was a college friend at UAF. He was a joy to be with the very best swing dancer, skied without gloves loved garlic and wine and long intelligent conversations. It seemed he loved the simple life and nature. His smile brought joy to many. I did not know he had passed. I regret not staying in touch. With deep sadness goodbye dear friend. May you be one with the universe another bright star up there. My sympathies and love to his family. Love ya John see you in the other side...❤
