Not sure what to say?

Nancy, Brandi, Kelly and Family, I am deeply saddened, to hear of the passing of John. He was a great guy and longtime friend. I always enjoyed seeing John. He along with Randy Hutton, who were the best officials, I have ever seen, as well as very good friends, used to officiate my basketball teams games. I am very sorry, I missed the services, as I have been working out of town. I will keep John and the family, in my prayers. May God Bless John and the family.

Good bye pal,see you soon. John David

I was two years behind John at Central high and played JV basketball in 57-58 season, so I got to see him play every game that year on one of the best teams Central every had. I can still visualize his "Patented" jump shot. He was a great athlete, Official and a well respected person. My sincere condolences to his family.

Being a friend of Johns' sooo "opened doors" for me,not only in officiating but many other doors as well! John was very well respected throughout the State not only in sports but for public activities as well. The story is told...that a couple were vacationing at the Vatican and heard the Pope was to appear and speak that day, they hurried and got nearly a front row place in the crowd,as the Pope and his entourage' appeared on the balcony and a spectator inquired "which one is the pope"?...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. and one of the best announcers at the buick open every year.

John Kirk loved Genesee county and loved all sports. He was an example of what a community leader should be and do.. No matter what the project is and as log it was a service to our community. Look around for the volunteers you would find John. Thank you for your service JOHN KIRK. YOU WILL BE MISSED.

I remember John when I was a junior in 58 and enjoyed his jump shot from the corner that led to the State Championship semifinals and Chet Walker. John and the rest of the team made a great showing and provided many great thrills on the court. I always thought that if the 3 point rule had been in effect, John could have won the game . Great shooter. Not to be forgotten - Great memories. Chuck Cwieka '59 Drum Major
