John was a good man and a wonderful friend...he was my neighbor for many years...we used to sit outside and have a lot of chats about life and whatever was happening around us... he always gave good advice about mechanical things and had a great sense of humor...I always greatly respected his opinion. He was a very intelligent and thoughtful man whom I admired. He used to tell me I was such a good neighbor to him and he was certainly a good neighbor to me... he will be sorely missed!
