To All the Kittels: It was a true pleasure to know John. Warm, friendly & helpful are some worlds to describe him. i first met you guys en mass at the "Ups & Downs Club" in the mid to late 60's, of which our families helped start & contributeted to -- as there was always a nice picnic at Delhi Park along the Huron River every summer, which was great for us kids. Pop drinking, frog & crawfish cacthing & softball, naturally. Got to toss the dry ice in the river at the end...

As Commander of VFW Post 423, we wish to pass on our condolences. It was always great to have John at our dinners, meetings and other events. He will not be forgotten. His military service to our nation also will not be forgotten.
