John Knott Jr.

Mary Jo, please accept my condolences. I learned of John's passing in the recent Virginia Tech alumni magazine. As John's former roommate at Virginia Tech (we were both co-op students the same work/school schedule), I have wonderful memories of our time together as roommates. He was smart with a delightful, lighthearted attitude towards life. I am privileged to have known him.

I graduated from VA Tech with John in 1971. He knew my brother (VA Tech '68, ChE) from the Alaska Tesoro Refinery who passed 12/23/03, small world! Condolences to your family and rest in peace, John!
