My first entry has been lost some how, so I am going to try this again

Dad,

I wish there was more time to spend with you and go out on the boat for a party with my friends how you always talked about. I know you will always be looking out for me and making sure I don't get anymore tattoos ;)
I also wanted to thank you for my drawing ability, because as we both know, no one in the family can draw a stick figure :)
I know you are in a better place watching out for all...

So terribly sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a man of many talents, in everything he set his mind to do. He was a great person and its such a shame he had to be taken at this time of his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

John: my old friend I remember those nights long ago at sonys and along the river. R.I.P my brother.

May God bless you and your family during this very very difficult time. I am so sorry I never made it down to spend time with him, I thought we had more time. I feel like I left him down for the 1st time in our lives. He will be greatly missed, such a kind-hearted warm giving man. May we all find peace with all the wonderful memories spent with John.
Please know your family is in my prayers .
