I have known John since 1949 when we were in grade 3 together at Cecil Rhodes. He was always an excellent athlete and a good person to be with.

John and I spent many mornings walking the Kamaole beaches,enjoying life on Maui and solving all the worlds problems.
I still go to Maui but I don't take those walks anymore,it's just not the same without John.

I was very sorry to learn of John's passing. I've known him since Grade 5 at Cecil Rhodes and remember countless ball games on that school yard. He was a great athlete at King Ed and a good friend through those high school years. I last saw John at our 50th reunion and he was in good spirits. We shared a few laughs and my memory of him will always be a positive one. My thoughts are with you.
