Kitty - Our Condolences from Madison and the Shawe Class of 1961. I too am a vet - Vietnam and glad to hear of Chris Military Service. Do get in touch when you are able, [email protected]. Nick

Our deepest sympathies to you, Kitty, and your family. May your memories sustain you.ww6

Our deepest sympathies go out to you, Kitty and the family. Chris was an amazing man, and we feel privileged to have known him through the several community bands we played in with Chris. I know you will miss him deeply. We'll be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Chris was a warm, loving and caring friend. I enjoyed playing in several area bands with him. After every concert and rehearsal, Chris made it a point to thank each french horn player individually for his or her effort. That's the kind of person he was. As a fellow veteran, I returned Chris's kind words with a salute. He will be sorely missed and will forever remain a member of our french horn section.

I am a member of both the Sarasota and Venice Bands. We would always have a few comments and perhaps a joke before rehearsals. I considered Chris a friend. He will be surely missed by me and our bands.

Dear Kitty and family,
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but the love leaves a memory that no one can steal". Thinking of you all and wishing you love and peace through this difficult and sad time. We love you.

Kitty,
I am so sorry to hear about Chris's passing. I loved spending time with him and talking about life. He was always do welcoming when BJ and I came to visit. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family
