Not sure what to say?

John popped into my head today, dont know why, its been almost 40 years since we've talked. Some peolpe you dont forget. We played baseball on opposing teams in our youth, attended grade school and high school together. Such a nice guy, smart, honest, always smiling. Rest in peace 'Kuddles'.

Was a good friend of kuddles at lasalle. In such a disbelief. Rest In Peace pam Weber

Is this the John I went to lasalle with? Seems unbelievable. Please tell me it isn't so.

To the Kodluk and Kingsway families,
John was one of the most positive people and teacher I ever met in my 46 years in education. Always had a smile, always wanted to know he could make his students' lives better so he took workshops and classes to improve his already formidable teaching/coaching skills which is where I met him. He understood how important it wast to connect with students and to increase all their skill sets and the personal finance was another facet of his teaching. ...

So Sorry for your loss. John was a great neighbor. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. He will be missed

The Straub Family-Logan Twp

Marie and Ashley: I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I had the great pleasure of working with John and to say he was an extraordinary man is an understatement. You could always be greeted with a smile and even on your worst day he could get you to smile his positivity was infectious. I feel honored to have known him and he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

So sorry to hear about John. We were all very close in the younger days when John, David and Stephen and our son Richard would gather up their survival kits and go off to the auto races to sell programs. Soccer was also a huge part of their lives. Our paths took different directions so we haven't seen the Kodluk family for many years but can see from all of the posts that John remained the gentleman he always was in his youth. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.

Marie and Ashley, I hope you remember me from the Acme days? :). Please know that I'm so very sorry to hear about John's passing. He was such a sweet man. Since my kids are in K-way now, he would still recognize me and give me a hug, even though I know he didn't remember how or where he knew me from. :) He will always be remembered for his kindness, smile and love for you two. I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Sending ((hugs)).

We never had the privilege to meet John but we have come to know him through his mother's many stories. She shared his love of teaching but most of all his love of his students. His mother, daughter, wife and family were precious to him. May John rest in peace with his Heavenly Father.
