John E. Konkowski

I just learned of the sad news of Johns passing. John was a friend of my mother's family, the Yureks. They all grew up together in the Slavic Village/Fleet Ave. area, and John was always included in our family get togethers.
Last July I had the chance to talk to John when he showed up at the funeral home for my Mom, Helen (Yurek) Gajowski. He had a great memory, and was as personable and friendly as ever. Condolences and prayers to the entire Konkowski family at this most difficult time.

To each of you I am so sorry for your Fathers passing. But he is now home, at peace, no longer suffering. We always felt to welcomed at their house and visiting with him at George and Pattys home, weddings and of course last September at the christening. John and Grace were a very special couple that raised a family of love and faith as demonstrated in their children, grandchildren. God is with you during this difficult time! Praying for all of your family .

Just heard of John's passing this morning. Plese know the entire Konkowski family is in our prayers. Prayers for peace, wisdom and grace as you travel this path.

Dearest Konkowski family,
Our sincere condolences to you all. I can hear your dad's voice and his smile... oh, that smile! What a wonderful man, husband, and father. I know he will be welcomed by so many of our family members who have passed before him, especially his beautiful Grace. My father, Richard Salasek, just loved his cousins Grace and Rita and their husbands. They are all in heaven, WHOLE, free from all Ills and watching over us until we're all together again.
