So sorry for your loss Cat, R.I.P. Pop Pop......JD

I'm happy Poppop didn't opt for puppies!! There's hole in my heart where Poppop's laughter and jokes once filled. He taught me about wet willies, tv commercials, the importance of family time, football Sundays, pretend sleeping, leaving salt on the pretzels for everyone, and love! I love you Poppop and I'll see you again someday!

Dear Family,
Aren't we all so glad that he didn't go get puppies instead? Let's all fill up that ache in our hearts with the best of memories. How incredibly lucky we are to be his family.
Love you.

Dear Carol, I think about you all the time, Wish I had some magic words too make the hurt go away. Your dad was so much a happy postive in your life,he is still with U and always will be. Take care love ya. Lynn (cool Moms)

Liz,
My thought and prayers are with you and your family. Your Pop Pop will be remembered by me with love and thankfulness for his generosity in allowing us to meet at his house to pray.

I wanted to express our deepest sympathy for your entire family during this incredibly difficult time. I can only hope that the beautiful memories you have together will serve as comfort. I can just see them both sipping sweet tea and looking over you all from heaven. John's sense of humor, wit and beautiful dancing will forever be etched in my memory.

Janet and Carol, we are so sorry about losing your Dad. We are lifting you up in prayer for peace and comfort. Your Dad was such a great man. His kindness and humor made him unique, and everyone he met was enriched by having known him. He opened his home to all of Congressional for years, and many memories were made. Know that he is with your Mom and Walton. We love you.

Our hearts are following you all and prayers are flowing from the Swaynes here in Florida during these immediate soul raking time. May he dance, skate and laugh his way around heaven as he did here on earth creating smiles from all who knew and were fortunate to have met John! We love you all and are available to listen from a far and if you need us up and close we can come there or you are invited to come and relax here in our home.

Carol and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I remember & cherish most from our skating days, your Dad's sense of humor. He is in peace now, with your Mom & Walton. May it comfort you to celebrate all the good times of your Dad's life. As we've talked before, no day will go by that you don't think of the ones you've lost. That never goes away, however, in time, it brings more & more comfort. Thinking of you...Love, Karen (Pine) & Billy Fox
