I recently learned of Joe's passing. He was so much more than a colleauge; he was a friendly face on the most hectic days and, above all, a valued friend. All who knew him are the better for it.

Sadly, I recently learned of the passing of Joe. Joe and I worked together as graduate students at Texas A&M. I still have many fond memories of that time. Joe had qualities that made him a great person to work with, as we spent many hours together for some time. I want to express my deepest sympathies to Diane and the rest of his family. This must be a difficult time for you.

One of the kindest men I've ever known. The love of Christ radiated from his life every day that I saw him in the halls of Jones Day.
