Not sure what to say?

I have such fine memories of Fr.John, driving him to Drs. appointments a wonderful Priest.

Sending my love and condolences to Ed, Daria, Jessica and the entire family on the one-year anniversary of your terrible loss. I will keep Father John in my prayers. Love always, Janette

Fr John was several years ahead of me in the seminary, and many of us 'younger guys' looked up to him for his friendliness, humor, intellect and, above all, the example of his faith. He made a difference in our lives long before he was ordained. "Well done, good and faithdul servant."

FR. Kostek was the kindest , soft spoken spiritual priest I have had the privilege and pleasure to have had counseling with.

Father Kostek was an amazing priest at St Adalbert's. He accepted me as a non catholic mother, raising her child alone, keeping the promise I made to Father Mike when she was baptized. He never looked down on me or excluded me, he cared. The world has surely lost a wonderful priest and heaven has gained an Angel. God Bless

I attended his masses when he was a priest of Our Lady of the Assumption in Rotterdam, New York. To me he exemplified what a priest should be. God blessed all of us who had the opportunity to attend his mass.

IM HEARTBROKEN AT THIS GREAT PRIEST FR. JOHNS PASSING. I HAVE KNOWN FR JOHN FOR OVER 25 YRS FROM MANHATTAN TO STATEN ISLAND WHERE I LIVE AND WAS HAPPY TO HAVE HIM HERE ON THE ISLAND . MY MOM AND DAD WERE VERY FOND OF HIM AND SHE WOULD ALWAYS COOK ITALIAN FOOD WHICH HE LOVED AND SEND IT TO WHATEVER PARISH HE WAS AT I WOULD ALSO ATTEND SERVICES TO WHATEVER PARISH HE WAS AT. I COULD ALWAYS TALK TO HIM WHEN NEEDED AND FR. JOHN MADE THE TIME TO SEE ME GOD BLESS HIM. WE ALL LOVED HIM AND WILL...

I am so sorry to hear of Father Johns´s passing. I will always remember his help and support will I was going through a personal problem. He was always available in my time of need. He was such a kind man we missed him after he left St. Adalberts parish.

We are so sorry for your loss. Father was a wonderful priest and Friend. As Chaplain of Stolzenthaler Knights of Columbus he was loved and respected. I always enjoyed talking to Father John at many of our events. He was always smiling and jovial. We remember our visit to his residence upstate. An entire bus of Knights and their wives had a beautiful day visiting with him and enjoying lunch. He will never be forgotten.
