Back in 1990, I applied for the job of high school special ed teacher through CESA 6, and John was the person who hired me. He was honest, straightforward, and kind. Later, when we were both retired, we belonged to the same retired teachers´ group, where he could again share his wisdom. The world has lost a really good guy!
