So thankful for the witness of Jack Koten, his grace, his competence, and his service. The Northern Illinois Conference was richly blessed by his leadership and passion.

I knew Jack Koten as a generous and thoughtful friend and mentor. He was one of the founders and the first chairman of the Arthur W. Page Society. I was proud to follow in his footsteps as chairman and now am trying to carry on his legacy as the organization's president. Jack's vision for Page was big and bold. There are many things about dad that I will miss. He had an unwavering will and a positive outlook on life. He truly believed he was on this planet to help others and that he could find the good in all people. He went out of his way many times to make others feel better.
